Empowering Faculty-Community Partnerships Through P-12 Education
Unlock new opportunities to support P-12 students, educators, and pathways to higher education. The P-12 Pathway Programs Hub is actively seeking partnerships with departments and individual faculty to further develop educational opportunities for students in our region.
The P-12 Pathway Programs Hub's mission is to introduce P-12 students to opportunities in higher education, emphasizing opportunities at Õý°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ. We value active learning, positive engagement, and shared leadership to provide meaningful impact on students.
Your involvement can make a difference. Faculty like Dr. Jay Avenido, Dr. Mary Schilling, Dr. Chris Curran, and Dr. Michael Guy were highlighted during our annual Doctor for a Day program. Girl Scouts who attend this event are more likely to apply to Õý°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ and express an interest in health careers.
Since 2018, we have served nearly 10,000 students in the region. 80% of students who attend two or more of our programs apply to Õý°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ.
